The business was started in 1974 by Kenneth Aldrich and his son Greg. In June of 2000, Ken sold the ownership interest to his son and daughter-in-law, Greg and Shari Aldrich who, along with their three daughters, make Aldrich Formica a third generation family business. Countertop Excellence 
Aldrich Fabrication Center's custom manufacturing process includes cutting the countertops, cutting and laminating the surfaces, molding and edging. Aldrich Fabrication Center houses the largest laminate inventory in Vermont. They also fabricate and install may top brand solid surfaces. In addition to providing tops for homes, Aldrich Fabrication Center has provided countertops for a variety of large projects, including schools and colleges, new housing developments, hospitals and laboratories. Aldrich Fabrication Center has also produced countertops that can be found across the United States and a number of foreign countries.

A fleet of trucks are on the road five days a week delivering finished product to their extensive service area. In addition, three sales representatives work tirelessly to provide the highest quality service to the company’s 300+ customers. As the largest and most respected distributor in the northeastern United States, Aldrich Fabrication Center is constantly expanding the instituting new practices and product lines.
